Oops, Gates does it again

Let the old times of the Cold War relive. Having been convicted for being overly capitalistic (AKA: abusing a monopoly) apparently didn't resonate very long with Bill Gates. In a recent interview with Cnet the Microsoft chairman compared spokespeople for more consumer friendly copyright laws to communists:

"There are fewer communists in the world today than there were. There are some new modern-day sort of communists who want to get rid of the incentive for musicians and moviemakers and software makers under various guises. They don't think that those incentives should exist," Gates told the website.

Gates of course upset the free speech and open source crowds. It has inspired some to create some "commie copyleft" artwork – link 1 - link 2.
